A Brief Biography
William J. Sorice AKA Bill Sorice was born and raised in Richmond Hill, Queens, New York. In the early 90’s he moved to Manhattan to attend college and pursue his dreams. He is an American actor and filmmaker.
Over the years he has acted in several plays, short and feature length films. A few notable credits include: “BETA TEST" (opposite Manu Bennett, Larenz Tate & Linden Ashby); "MATT’S CHANCE" (opposite Edward Furlong, Gary Busey, Lee Majors & Margot Kidder) and "BRUTAL MASSACRE: A COMEDY" (opposite David Naughton, Brian OHalloran & Gerry Bednob).
Bill played the character ‘Lucky Two Fingers’ in the
NY LOTTERY ‘LITTLE BIT OF LUCK’ COMMERCIAL – OTHER KINDS OF LUCK which ran nationally for 1 1/2 years.
His short films: "VINNY VINO" (writer-director),  "THIS IS ONLY A TEST" (writer-director) and "OH HAPPY DAY" (director) all had a worldwide film festival circuit run and won multiple awards. View the TRAILERS
OUT OF THE BOX (writer-director) premiered at NY’s Producers Club Grande theatre to a well received audience.
Trained by the Ambassador of Lindy Hop FRANKIE MANNING (Hellzapoppin, Swingen anfaller) prepared Bill to show his moves off and dance socially, on stage and for indie films. Bill and his then dance partner Fatima (artist), now his wife, went on to teach small groups and private swing dance lessons.
He continues to WRITE plays, short & feature length screenplays that are available for option, purchase or co-production.
Bill received a BFA summa cum laude in Communication Arts from NYIT, is an active member of SAG-AFTRA, drives a 1967 Plymouth Fury III convertible, resides in Manhattan with two cats, one wife and their daughter, Audrey.
